Yoga In The Woods

£30.00

Join Emily for a rejuvenating morning in the natural beauty of The Deer Wood Trust. Awaken your senses and nurture your mind, body, and soul through a blend of wellbeing practices to restore balance and cultivate inner peace.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Deer Wood outdoor kitchen before taking a gentle walk through the ancient trees, where you'll connect with nature and ground into the present. Forest bathing - known as shirin yoku in Japan - is the practise of being clam and quiet amongst the trees, a simple ancient Japanese process of relaxation.

Upon arriving at the beautifully hand crafted wellbeing shelter, we will settle here and dip into pranayama, intentional breathing practices, to foster steadiness and harmony. This is a chance for you to learn techniques to calm the mind, regulate energy, and enhance overall wellbeing.

We will tap into our bodies’ wisdom through yoga and somatic movement; gentle yet profound practices that invite you to move, sense, and feel from a deeper level. Release tension and increase body awareness..

This session is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners.

As the morning draws to a close, surrender to a state of deep rest through a guided yoga nidra meditation. Cultivate inner peace that you can carry with you long after the session ends.

Optional: Close your experience with a nourishing plant-based meal prepared in the outdoor kitchen, crafted to nourish both body and soul, and foster connections with like-minded individuals. (£15 to be paid on the day in cash)
